
Hello, my name is Swan Roberts. I am a licensed therapist, LCSW (licensed clinical social worker). I love helping people through my work and I have been doing this for 6 years. I decided to become a therapist because I had a therapist that helped me ease through the transition of getting out medically from active duty army service, which inspired me to follow this career path. It takes courage to make the decision of facing the things that are causing you turmoil, including trauma, and I am glad you are here. I look forward to meeting you and help you transform your life through healing evidence based interventions: EMDR, IFS, SE, & CBT.
After trauma, you may be overthinking, hypervigilant, anxious in relationships, struggling with people pleasing, and not feeling confident or competent even if you can rationalize that you are. With EMDR, IFS, and SE, I can help you trust yourself and feel more calm believing your resiliency and strength, to live your life fully.
It is truly rewarding helping people heal from trauma, to see their lives, and relationships transform as symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder are replaced by confidence, security, empathy, and compassion. It is possible to heal and enjoy your life again, even for the first time.
